Based on a true story...a village in north Germany fall into hurly-burly as they find a farmer dead. everybody tries to find the murder and some villagers develop themselves into famous detektives like Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple, Inspector Clouseau...

a black tragic-comedy as an homage to Sergio Leone´s Spaghetti-Westerns

Synopsis:
If you are going to lose everything, how far would you go to save your existence?
One dead body!
Two undertaker: One to much!
One bet: He who first buries three dead bodies will be the sole undertaker of the Dollart!
With black humour, accompanied by the famous Morricone sound, the way our tragic heroes act, strongly reminds us of Sergio Leone’s Spaghetti-Western, but in this case the story is full of a typical Nordic easy-going, stubborn tranquillity
Set in the North Sea’s mud-flats, meadows, dykes and boundless green Dollart region is dominated by old skew trees, ever grazing cows, sheep plus the inevitable sea gulls drawing their circles like vultures in the sky.
